Sunday School

Sunday school is an important and fun place for children to begin building a foundation of faith. Our Sunday School curriculum helps kids:

  • Understand why they need to grow in Christ
  • Build an active faith in God and his son, Jesus
  • Know, understand and remember God’s Word and
  • Tell about their own hope in Jesus.

Living Water provides quality, safe and loving childcare with a minimum of two caregivers at all times. There are also many different toys available for children to play with. Snacks are provided.

Special Kids Opening Worship in The Sea Cave

Children begin by going to The Sea Cave for a special kids opening led by Living Water high school students. They are dismissed from kids opening after about 25 minutes. Sunday School teachers will meet the children in the lobby and walk them to the classroom. Parents should plan on picking their younger children up from the classroom immediately following service. Sunday school classes are shown below.

Seagulls at The Shore | Pre-Kindergarten & Kindergarten
Sea Horses at The Coral Reef | First, Second, & Third Grades
Sea Turtles on The Island | Fourth, Fifth, & Sixth Grades

Our Sunday school curriculum follows a monthly theme with new lessons each week. Children will sing songs, say the Lord's Prayer, memorize bible verses and do activities and worksheets to re-enforce the Bible lesson for that week. Younger children use the Young Reader's Adventure Bible in class and will learn how to look up passages in the Bible as well as the different books in the Bible. Older children are encouraged to bring their own Bibles or can use the ones provided in the classrooms.
